Terms and conditions of use
Last updated: August 2026
These terms govern access to and use of the Emet Political Intelligence website. By browsing the site you accept their content. If you disagree with any of their provisions, we ask that you not use the site.
1. Site owner
- Owner: EMET POLITICAL INTELLIGENCE
- Trade name: Emet Political Intelligence
- Address: Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic
- Email: info@emetintelligence.com
2. Acceptance
Access to the site implies full acceptance of these terms in the version published at the time of access. We recommend reviewing them periodically.
3. Purpose and scope
This site is informational in purpose: it presents the firm, its analytical capabilities and its publications. It does not constitute a binding contractual offer, nor does it replace a formal written services proposal.
These terms govern exclusively the use of the public website. Use of the client platform and the provision of our professional services — Emet Media Monitor, Emet Social Climate Monitor, Emet Executive Intelligence Report and Emet Electoral — are governed by the documents indicated in section 11.
4. Permitted use
You undertake to use the site in accordance with the law and in good faith. In particular:
- Not to carry out massive automated extraction of content without written authorization.
- Not to attempt to access restricted areas or compromise the security of the site or the platform.
- Not to submit false third-party data in our forms.
We may adopt proportionate technical measures to preserve the availability and integrity of the site, including restricting access from addresses or systems carrying out unauthorized automated extraction, improper access attempts or traffic that compromises the service.
5. Intellectual property
The Emet Political Intelligence brand, its visual identity, its product names, and the texts, graphics, methodologies and analyses published are owned by the firm or its licensors and are protected by Dominican copyright and industrial property law.
Full reproduction, modification and commercial use without prior written authorization are prohibited, without prejudice to the provisions of the following section.
6. Use and citation of our analyses and indicators
Partial quotation of our publications is permitted with express attribution to Emet Political Intelligence and a link to the source.
When charts, indices or indicators are reproduced, authorization is conditional on preserving the integrity of the reading. Specifically:
- The period to which the data corresponds must be stated.
- The scale, axis or range of the original chart must not be altered.
- A figure must not be taken out of context in a way that changes the meaning of the analysis.
- It must be expressly attributed to Emet Political Intelligence, with a link to the original publication where the medium allows it.
We reserve the right to request the correction or withdrawal of reproductions that breach these conditions, as well as to publish the corresponding clarification.
7. Nature of the analytical content
The analyses, indicators and publications disseminated on this site are prepared for informational and educational purposes. They do not constitute legal, financial or electoral advice, nor a recommendation of action for any political actor.
We work with public sources and declare the period, the source and the margin of uncertainty of each reading. We do not guarantee the absolute accuracy of data originating from third parties, nor the occurrence of the scenarios described.
8. Independence and method
What we do not do. Emet Political Intelligence does not produce political propaganda, does not run campaign operations and does not manage political advertising.
What we do. We provide monitoring, analysis and diagnostic services to clients that may include campaigns, parties, governments, international organizations, companies and private institutions. The provision of these services is governed by confidentiality agreements and does not imply endorsement, adherence to or recommendation of any political actor.
Methodological guarantee. The analytical method is the same for every actor. No color, category, scale or indicator in our products represents a party or a candidate, nor expresses a preference for any.
9. Requests for correction
Our publications frequently refer to identifiable public figures. If you believe that a publication on this site contains a factual error affecting you, you may request its correction by writing to info@emetintelligence.com, indicating the publication, the specific passage and the element you consider inaccurate.
We will acknowledge receipt of the request and reply with reasons as promptly as possible. Where a factual error is verified, we will correct it and leave a visible record of the correction in the affected publication.
This procedure is free of charge and is offered without prejudice to the rights of reply and correction recognized by the Constitution and the laws of the Dominican Republic.
10. Third-party links
The site contains links to external platforms such as LinkedIn or X. We do not control their content or policies and accept no responsibility for them. Their use is governed by each platform’s own terms.
11. Access to the client platform
Access to the Emet platform is reserved for clients with assigned credentials and is governed by its own terms of service and by the contract signed with each client, not by these terms.
Credentials are personal and non-transferable. Their holder is responsible for the activity carried out with them and must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
In the event of a discrepancy between these terms and the service agreement or the platform terms, the latter shall prevail.
12. Availability and limitation of liability
We aim to keep the site continuously available, but it may be interrupted for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or loss of profit arising from the use of the site or the inability to use it.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liabilities that Dominican law does not permit to be excluded or limited.
13. Data protection
The processing of personal data carried out through the site is governed by our Privacy policy, which forms an integral part of these terms. As stated in that policy, the processing of information within our professional services is governed by a separate framework and by the contracts signed with each client.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Santo Domingo, unless applicable regulations provide for another venue.
15. Severability and no waiver
If any provision of these terms is declared void, invalid or unenforceable by a competent authority, that provision shall be interpreted in the sense closest to its original purpose that is valid, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force.
The fact that we do not enforce any of these provisions at a given time does not constitute a waiver of the right to enforce it later.
16. Modifications
We may modify these terms at any time. The version in force will always be the one published on this page, with its date of last update.
The conditions applicable to clients with platform access are modified only as provided in their service agreement, and are not affected by updates to this page.
